Edna Leona Tucker, age 94 of the Laurelbrook Community on Dayton Mountain entered into rest Sunday morning, October 26, 2008 in Dayton.
She was born in Laona, WI on March 19, 1914 the daughter of the late Ernest and Olga (Hedstrom) Greenman.
Edna has been a resident of Dayton since 2001 moving here from South Carolina. She enjoyed bird watching, gardening and church leadership, primarily with the youth. She was of the Seventh Day Adventist faith.
Edna is survived by her husband of 71 years, Allan Tucker of Dayton Mountain, her two sons, James (Priscilla) Tucker of Chattanooga and Dean (Linda Kathleen) Tucker of Portland, TN, sister, Rose Bryant of Elgin, IL, seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside funeral services for Edna will be held Tuesday afternoon at 1:30pm at the Laurelbrook Cemetery on Dayton Mountain with Pastor Larry Owens officiating.
