Eddie Dean Stinnett, age 57 of Dayton died Thursday October 13, 2016 at Rhea Medical Center. He was born December 12, 1958 in Dayton to the late Jimmy and Bertha (Elder) Stinnett.
A life-long resident of Dayton, Eddie worked as a truck driver for La-Z-Boy. He enjoyed fishing and poker nights with his brothers. He was a member of Garrison Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife Nancy (Goss) Stinnett, two daughters Christy (Tony) Cagle and Mandy (Jamie) Janow, step-daughter Macy Rogers, two step-sons Tim Goss and Jackie Goss, all of Dayton, three brothers Butch (Margaret) Stinnett of Brayton Mountain, Danny (Sheila) Stinnett and Jason (Cindy) Stinnett all of Spring City, one sister Becky (Roger) Gunter of Evensville, six grandchildren Tyler Hamby, Haley (Hunter) Gibson, Amber Cagle, Mason Cagle, Chloe Janow and Layla Janow and one great-grandson Leelynd Gibson, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, family and friends.
Funeral services for Eddie will be held Saturday afternoon at 3:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jimmy Jewell officiating. He will be laid to rest next to his parents in Rhea Memory Gardens.
