Duc Kim Lai, age 84 of Dayton died January 12, 2011 in Chattanooga. She was born on July 2, 1926 in Bac Lieu, Viet Nam the daughter of the late Lai Tung and Tran Tu Chon. She was also preceded in death by her husband Tan Quang Duong and her son Xuan Kim Lai.
Duc had been a resident of Dayton since 1975. She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith.
She is survived by her two sons, Phu (Phuc) Quang Lai of Garland, TX and Phat “Fred”(Juanita) Quang Duong of Signal Mountain and Thailand; two daughters, Nga (Tuan) Anh Mai of Rossville, GA and Anh (Huy) LeQuan of Dayton; her brother, Lai Vien and her sister Lai Kim Loan both of Paris, France; twenty grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral service for Duc will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. John Fields officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband and son in Rhea Memory Gardens.
