Dorothy Ann Elkins

Dorothy Ann Elkins, age 53 of Graysville, TN died Wednesday, June 27, 2007 at Memorial Northpark Hospital in Chattanooga. Dorothy was born in Hickory, NC on October 22, 1953 the daughter of the late Lacy Hall Aiken and Della Clifton (Speagle) Aiken.

Dorothy lived in Graysville for the past 30 years where she enjoyed bingo, collecting movies and traveling. She was of the Church of God faith.

Dorothy is survived by her husband of 32 years, Roger Dale Elkins, her son, Tim Elkins, daughter, Kelly Elkins all of Graysville, two granddaughters, Whiteny Gross of Graysville and Megan Shell of Dayton, her brother, Charles Aiken of Hickory, NC and sister, Ruth Aiken of Clarksville, TN.

Funeral services for Dorothy will be held Saturday at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jimmy Talley officiating. Burial will be in Pleasantview Cemetery in Graysville followed by a white dove release.

The family is being served by the Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton where they will receive friends Friday from 4pm until 9pm.
