Dorothy Irene Oliver

Dorothy Irene Oliver, age 77 of Dayton Mountain, died Thursday, December 20, 2012 at the Hospice Care Facility in Chattanooga. She was born August 25, 1925 on Brayton Mountain to the late George and Alice (Walker) Post.
Dorothy spent most of her life in Dayton. She graduated from Southern Missionary College and was a registered nurse. She was a member of the Ogden Road Seventh Day Adventist Church.
She is survived by her husband Edwin Charles Oliver of Dayton Mountain, daughter Rachel Keylor of Mio, MI, step-son Earl Oliver of McDonald, step-daughters Janet Williams of Chattanooga and Patricia Reese of Cleveland, brothers Lloyd Post of Collegedale, William Post of Brayton Mountain and Ed Post of Dalton, GA, sisters Blossom Harmon of Graysville and Virginia Forbes of Dayton Mountain, grandsons Bryant Keylor and Brandon Keylor of Mio, MI, granddaughter Misty Horn of Oklahoma City, step-grandsons Ryan Reese of Cleveland, Justin Williams of Chattanooga and Zach Reese of Cleveland and step-granddaughter Jessica Williams of Chattanooga.
Funeral services for Dorothy will be held Sunday, January 6, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the Ogden Road Seventh Day Adventist Church. Burial was in Chattanooga National Cemetery.
