Doris Elaine Reichert age 85 of Dayton, TN and formerly of Bourbon, IN, died at her home on Thursday, March 06, 2008. Doris was born in Marshall County, IN on March 29, 1922 the daughter of the late Ed and Jenny (Anders) Cannan. She was also preceded in death by her husband Wayne Reichert.
Doris was a long time resident of Bourbon, IN and enjoyed stamp collecting and working crossword puzzles. She was a member of the Bourbon United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her daughter, Connie (Vance) Berger of Dayton, TN, her three sons, David (Juanita) Reichert of Bourbon, IN, Eric (Gail) Reichert of San Diego, CA, Jon (April) Reichert of Rockville Centre, NY, ten grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.
Services for Doris will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00pm at the Bourbon United Methodist Church in Bourbon, IN with Rev. Mark Day and Rev. David Gould officiating. Burial has taken place next to her husband in the Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Bourbon, IN.
