Donald Oscar Morgan, age 63, died early Friday morning, November 1, 2013 at his home. He was born September 19, 1950 in Rhea County to the late William E. and Alberta (Caraway) Morgan. He was also preceded in death by his brother Buddy Morgan. A resident of Dayton all of his life, he worked in commercial construction and was of the Pentecostal faith. He is survived by his three brothers, Billy (Catherine) Morgan and Freddie (Mary) Morgan, all of Dayton and Dickie (Martha) Morgan of Ocala, FL, eight sisters Alene (Ed) Dillard, Anna Sandell, Becky (Paul) Smith, Mary (Jim) Sandell, Fay (Audie) May, Debbie (Chris) Evans, Vickie (Jackie) Filyaw all of Dayton and Juanita May of Charleston He is also survived by a very special nephew and friend Roy Dillard of Dayton along with several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Donald were held Friday at 4:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Chaplain Aaron Cope officiating. He was laid to rest in Rhea Memory Gardens.
