Don McCroskey Rowe, of Evensville age 82, passed away early Tuesday morning November 3, 2015 in his home. He was born on October 8, 1933 in Atlanta to the late Robert and Edna (Bartlett) Rowe. And he was also preceded in death by his first wife Barbara Jean (Epps) Rowe.
Don was raised in Atlanta, GA. He retired as a chief petty officer with the U.S. Navy in 1969. He became a resident of Evensville in 1995. Don was a member of Summer City Church of God in Pikeville.
He is survived by his wife Barbara Ann (White) Rowe of Evensville, three sons; Mike Rowe of St.Simons Island,GA, Steve (Wanda) Rowe of Woodstock, GA and Jeff (Debbie) Rowe of Smyrna,GA, grandchildren Jennifer Klamer, Ashley Harwell, Kayla Lother, J.C. Rowe, Zachary Rowe, step-children Grady Lenning, Darlene Odom, Louise Waldrop, numerous great- grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Graveside services with military honors will be held Thursday morning at 11:30 am at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Rev. Freddie Marler officiating.
