Dianna Lynn Hughes age 48 of Dayton died Thursday, January 11, 2007 in her home. She was born June 29, 1958 in Rhea County, the daughter of the late Lawrence and Reba (Burwick) Phillips.
She lived in Rhea County most of her life where she graduated from Rhea Central High School and then attended Chattanooga State College for 2 years. She loved reading and animals and attended Sale Creek Church of God.
Dianna is survived by her daughter, Katie Hughes of Chattanooga, her sisters, Wilma Isles of Sale Creek, Linda Goins, Phyllis Trantham, Carol Hughes, Shiela Ripper and her brother, Lawrence Phillips, all of Dayton.
Funeral services for Dianna will be held Saturday evening at 7pm in the funeral home chapel with Bishop Kenneth Bolton officiating. Graveside services will be Sunday afternoon at 2pm in Rhea Memory Gardens.
The family is being served by Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton where they will receive friends Saturday 4-7pm.
