Delmer Harlan Munday

Delmer Harlan Munday, age 83 of Dayton, passed away in Dayton Monday afternoon, May 31, 2021. He was born on November 10, 1937 in Crossville, TN, the son of the late Thomas Monday and Ola Hazel (Vitatoe) Monday. Delmer was also preceded in death by his wife, Bettye Lee (Davis) Munday.

Delmer was raised in Grandview, TN until entering the USAF. He was a Crossville high school graduate. Delmer served his country with the US Air Force as a jet engine mechanic primarily stationed in Japan. He retired from General Motors in Oakland County, MI. Delmer was a member of the United Auto Workers and a member of the American Legion.

He is survived by his daughters, Kellie Williamson of Chattanooga, TN and Sherilyn Dotson of Dayton, TN; his son, Michael (Tonia) Munday of Dayton, TN; grandchildren, Craig Aaron Williamson, Chase Williamson and Kyler Williamson all of Chattanooga, TN, Brandy Dotson of Ringgold, GA, and Chris Dotson of Dayton, TN.

Memorial services for Delmer will be held at a later time.
