Della Geneva Poole Williams, age 91 of Sale Creek died April 23, 2007 in the Soddy Daisy HCC. Della was born in Hamilton County on April 7, 1916 the daughter of the late Willie and Dora (Curtis) Farmer and was also preceded in death by her husbands Earl Poole and Homer Williams; sister, Maggie Suggs, brothers Max Farmer and heron Farmer and her beloved grandson, Kerry Poole.

Della lived all of her life in Sale Creek where she was a homemaker and a long time member of the Sale Creek United Methodist Church.

Della is survived by her son, Varnell (Martha) Poole of Sale Creek, granddaughter, Kristi Poole, two great-grandchildren, Haley Trejo and Kevin Trejo all of Soddy Daisy.

Funeral services for Della will be held Thursday morning at 11:00am in the funeral home chapel with her nephew, Rev. Archie Poole and Rev. Lonnie Eldridge officiating. Burial will follow in Shelton Cemetery in Sale Creek.

The family is being served by the Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton where they will receive friends Wednesday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
