David King, age 37 of Dayton, died Wednesday October 13, 2010 in Pikeville, TN. He was born December 23, 1972 in Rhea County to Larry and Tonya (Neal) King.
David attended the Dayton Church of God of Prophecy. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his son Caleb Hickman of Dayton, sister Debbie(Randy) Pierce and brother Troy (Cynthia) Rice, all of Dayton, nephews Sgt. Michael (Leigh) Nixon of Ft. Campbell, KY and Jason (Chelsea) Nixon of Dayton, great-nephew Zander Nixon and great-niece Olivia Barnes Nixon.
Funeral services for David will be held Sunday at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Bob Carroll officiating. Burial will be in the Hurst Cemetery.

The family is being served by the Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton where they will receive friends Saturday after 5:00.
