Darlene May McNally, age 75 of Birchwood died Thursday August 13, 2015 at Rhea Medical Center. She was born January 18, 1940 in Rogers City, MI to the late Harvey and Beatrice (Taylor) Parris. She was also preceded in death by her first husband Charles Clewley, Sr. and son Charles “Chucky” Clewley, Jr., brothers Harvey Parris, Jr., Patrick Parris, George Parris and Albert Parris and sister Marlene Parris.
A resident of Birchwood for the past seven years, she lived previously in Alpena Co., MI. She was a homemaker and also worked as an aide in home health care.
She is survived by her husband Franklin McNally of Birchwood, four daughters Charlene (Pete) McGrath of Shullsburg, WI, Julie (Willy) Sawyers of Cedar Rapids, IA, Tina Walton and Gail Aumiller, both of Monroe, WI, five brothers, Alvin (Joyce) Parris of Roger City, MI, Robert (Lynn) Parris of Gowen, MI, Floyd (Ann) Parris of Fon du Lac, WI, Billie (Penny) Parris of Neosho, WI and Dale (Julie) Parris Howell of NJ, four sisters Winnifred (Eugene) Chrzan of Alpena, MI, Mary (DuWayne) Balthazor of Merritt Island, FL, Chloe Jezeski of Neenah, WI and Delphy (Mike) Plummer of Chandler, AZ and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
A celebration of her life will be held in Rhea County at the Cherokee Removal Memorial and in Dubuque, IA at a date to be announced.
