Daniel Robert Kiest, age 51 of Dayton, died Wednesday, September 15, 2010 at Memorial Hospital. He was born in Hammond, IN on April 17, 1959 to the late Robert Frederick and Leona Isabelle Darmofalski Kiest.
He was a resident of Dayton for the past 17 years and was employed with Eastman Construction in Chattanooga where he worked mainly in demolition.
Dan is survived by his sons, Rob (Carmen) Kiest and Cory Kiest both of Graysville, daughters, Lori “Sissy”(Justin) Trotter and Mandie Kiest both of Dayton, five grandchildren, four brothers, Don Kiest, Devin Kiest and Dave Kiest all of Dayton and Kenny Kiest of CA, two sisters, Donna Kiest of GA and Little Donna Kieth of Dayton. He is also survived by his loving wife to be, Deborah Lee Dean of Dayton.
Graveside funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 3:00pm in Buttram Cemetery with Rev. Jimmy Talley officiating. The family will receive friends at the cemetery Friday after 2:00pm.
