Cynthia Williams

Cynthia M. Williams, age 90, died Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at the Pinnacle in Dayton. Cynthia was born May 8, 1918 in Lexington, GA, the daughter of the late Thomas and Mattie (Collins) Williams.

Cynthia lived in Cincinnati, OH for many years before coming to Dayton in 2002. She was a nanny by profession and was a member of the Lee Chapel AME Church in Cincinnati and attended Mt. Zion Baptist Church while in Dayton.

Cynthia is survived by her niece and nephew Margaret and Bill Swafford, whom she lived with and several other nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Cynthia will be held Saturday at 3:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with the Rev. Robert Henderson officiating. Burial will follow in the Rhea Memory Gardens.

The family is being served by the Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton where they will receive friends one hour prior to the funeral.
