Collin Scott Campbell, age 74 of Evensville, passed away at his home on Sunday, September 7, 2025. He was born on June 13, 1951, in Independence, Kansas, the son of the late Joseph Gordon Campbell and Helen Eileen (Sargent) Campbell. He was also preceded in death by his wife, Patricia (Wallis) Campbell, who passed away on June 2, 2017, and his brother, Kevin Campbell.
Collin, a dedicated serviceman and world traveler, earned a Bachelor of Arts degree and retired after an illustrious 36-year career with the US Coast Guard and Homeland Security. A proud member of the VFW and a staunch supporter of Wounded Warriors, Collin’s commitment to his country and fellow veterans remained steadfast throughout his life. His adventures took him around the globe with the USCG, and he explored the breadth of the United States on his motorcycle. A resident of Evensville since 2016, Collin enjoyed the craft of woodworking and had a keen interest in astrology.
Collin is survived by his sons, Jonathan (Nicole) Campbell of Evensville and Devon Campbell of Ft. Pierce, Florida; his daughter, Kelly (Chandler) Lang of Ft. Pierce, Florida; his granddaughter, Belle Elise Campbell of Raleigh, North Carolina; and his sisters, Leslie (Peter Swift) Grandsbury of Westport, Connecticut, Melinda (Edward) Stephenson of Leawood, Kansas, Barbara (Terri Hirsch) Campbell and Rebecca Campbell, both of Kansas City, Missouri.
Funeral services for Collin will be held in the funeral home chapel on Monday, September 15, 2025, at 12:00 noon with Rev. Jim Woychuk officiating. He will be laid to rest next to his wife at Chattanooga National Cemetery with US Coast Guard military honors on Monday, September 15, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.
