Clifford "Gill" Cronan

Clifford Gilliand Cronan, age 43 of Dayton died Monday morning, January 19, 2009 at his parent’s home in Chattanooga. Gill was born in Chattanooga on April 14, 1965 and was preceded in death by his father, Karl Henry Cronan.

Gill lived most of his life in Rhea County and had been employed as an EMT with both Rhea Ambulance Service and Roane Ambulance Service.

He is survived by his wife, Brenda Gale (Phillips) Cronan, his son, Thomas Karl Cronan and his daughter Amber Gale Cronan all of Dayton. Also surviving is his mother and step-father, Christine “Annette” (Vincent) Cronan-Reed and Roger Reed of Chattanooga, brother, Steven Michael Cronan and sister, Cynthia Cronan Leamon both of Hixson.

Funeral services for Gill will be held Thursday afternoon at 1:00pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Wayne Depew officiating. Burial will follow in Rhea Memory Gardens.

The family is being served by the Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton where they will receive friends Wednesday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
