Evensville

Christopher Stephen Sales, age 61 of Evensville, passed away in Cleveland, Tennessee, on Wednesday, August 26, 2026. He was born in St. Petersburg, Florida, on May 1, 1965, the son of Fred “Emil” Sales and his late beloved mother, Mary Jane (Macaione) Sales. He was also preceded in death by his uncle, Keith Sales.

Christopher received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of South Florida College of Social and Behavioral Science and furthered his education with a Master of Science degree from John B. Stetson University in DeLand, Florida. He began his career as a licensed counselor in Florida before serving as the Center Director for Volunteer Behavioral Health Care on the Rhea and Rockwood campuses for the past 15 years. He had a passion for mental health and for people.

Christopher had a big heart, and no one will ever know the depths of his private contributions at the utility companies or other resources to help those in need. He also never failed to generously donate to St. Jude Research Hospital. He enjoyed life and loved to spend time with his family and friends. He enjoyed reading and learning about history and travel, shooting, sports, good food, and just “grilling and chilling.”

Christopher loved his family and friends deeply. He is survived by his father, Fred “Emil” Sales of Dayton; his daughter, Emily K. Sales of Evensville; his brother, Andrew (Grace) Sales of Spring City; his girlfriend, Angie Stokes of Cleveland; his aunt, Carol Sales and his cousin, Keith (Alexis) Sales, all of St. Petersburg, Florida; and his uncle, George Sales of Louisville, Kentucky.

Christopher leaves behind a legacy of love, friendship, and service. His memory will remain in the hearts of all who have had the honor of knowing and loving him.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held for Christopher on Saturday, September 5, 2026, at 12:00 noon in the funeral home chapel.
