Charles "Fred" Hensley

Charles Fred Hensley, age 88 of Dayton, died September 10, 2008 at his home. He was born June 20, 1920 in Crossville, TN, the son of the late William and Martha (Hamby) Hensley.

Fred had lived in Dayton since 1965 and was retired from TVA. He served his country in the U.S Army during WWII.

Fred is survived by his wife Precy (Arande) Hensley, daughters Betty Underwood and Patricia Yearwood, both of Dayton and Delores Martin of Georgetown, KY, two sons, Charles F.Hensley of Mobile, AL and William T. Hensley of Dayton, sister, Joyce Auiars of Denver, CO, several grand and great-grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Charles will be held Friday at 11:00 am in the funeral home chapel wit the Rev. Bob Schafer and Rev. Ron Underwood officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in the Hensley Family Cemetery.
