Charles Michael Rose, age 58 of Dayton Mountain, passed away Thursday morning, January 27, 2022 at Rhea Medical Center. He was born on January 16, 1964 in Chattanooga, the son of the late Dewey Rejester Rose and Doris Loretta King.
Charles lived in Dayton Mountain all of his life and was a welder for over 30 years. He was a collector of Nascar, watched any type of western movies and enjoyed playing and spending time with his grandkids.
He is survived by his daughters, Kristin (James Johnson) Rose of Dayton and Heather (Matthew Strickland) Rose of Knoxville; his son, Michael Selph of Spring City; his sisters, Sharon (Smith) Wilson of Hixson and Joy (Rose) Applebaum and her husband Bob from Winchester, TN; 10 grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Charles will be held on Sunday, January 30, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Tim Henderson officiating. He will be laid to rest in Rhea Memory Gardens.
