Cecil Richard Webb, age 76 of Graysville, formerly of Sale Creek, died early Sunday morning November 18, 2007 in Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga. Cecil was born in Sale Creek on November 13, 1931 the son of the late Walter and Neva (Fox) Webb.
Cecil was a long time resident of Sale Creek until moving to Graysville five years ago. Cecil was a farmer and managed the McDonald farm in Sale Creek for over 35 years. He served his country with the US Army and served in Germany. Cecil was a Methodist and loved his work and his family.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Pansy (Martin) Webb of Graysville, his daughter Lynna (David) Cornwell of Red Bank and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Cecil will be held Tuesday morning at 11:00am in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Russell Hillian officiating. Burial with full military honors will follow in Pleasantview Cemetery in Graysville.
The family is being served by the Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton where they will receive friends Monday from 4:00pm until 8:00pm.
