Carrie Lynn Coffelt age 39 of Dayton passed away Saturday afternoon July 13, 2019 at her home. She was born in Chattanooga on October 6, 1979 and lived in Rhea County for most of her life. She was a graduate of Rhea County High School Class of 1997 and formerly was employed as a teacher’s assistant at Graysville Elementary School.
She is survived by her three sons, Austin Thurman, Chance Thurman and Ethan Thurman all at home, her dad and mom, Douglas and Candy Crawley of Dayton, her brother Nicholas (Tiffany Mitchell) Coffelt of Graysville, two sisters, Beth (Brian) Huff of Soddy Daisy and Nicole (Tanner) Finnell of Cleveland, two grandmothers, Grace Coffelt of Chattanooga and Virginia Pruett of Dayton. Carrie is also survived by her two caregivers, Gina Self of Pikeville and Tiffany Mitchell of Graysville, four nieces, Micheala Huff, Delaney Huff, Maggie Finnell and Emily Finnell; two step-brothers, Robbie Beard and Shawn (Amy) Crawley, and niece, Karinn Crawley all of Ten Mile.
Funeral services for Carrie will be held Monday evening at 7:00pm in the funeral home chapel with Dwayne Goins and Michael Palmer officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Rogers Family Cemetery in Dunlap.
