Carol Ann (Spickler) Yarger, age 70 of Spring City, passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023, at Fort Sanders Regional Medical Center in Knoxville. She was born on October 11, 1953 in Lewisburg, Pennsylvania. She was preceded in death by her father, David Spickler.
Carol lived in Spring City since 1987 and recently retired from Cedine Ministries-Bible Camp as office manager and housekeeper. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Evensville.
Carol is survived by her husband of 51 years, Kim Yarger of Spring City; her two sons, Cory (Charlene) Yarger and Colby Yarger, both of Spring City; her daughter, Keri Yarger of Spring City; her mother, Gretta Spangler of Mifflinburg, Pennsylvania; her two brothers, Dan (Marcelle) Spickler of Paxtonville, PA, and Keith Spickler of New Columbia, PA; her sister, Penny Snyder of Mifflinburg, PA; her eight grandchildren, Charity (Nate) Campbell, Craig (Mo) Yarger, Malachi Yarger, Micah Yarger, Calli Yarger, Caleb Yarger, Chloe Yarger, and Hattie Yarger; and her great-granddaughter, Willow Yarger.
A Celebration of Life Service for Carol will be held on Saturday, November 11, 2023, at 3:00 p.m. in the Jubilee Building at Cedine Ministries-Bible Camp in Spring City, TN. She will be laid to rest in the Cedine Cemetery.
