Calvin Montgomery, age 65 of Dayton, passed away March 24, 2016 at his home. He was born November 26, 1950 in Dayton to the late William “Peck” and Willie Mae (Morgan) Montgomery. He was also preceded in death by his sister Pat Sherrill and brothers Buck Montgomery, Roddy Montgomery and Charles Allen Montgomery.
A lifelong resident of Dayton, he was a millwright for Welch’s Concrete. He is survived by his sisters Carolyn (Bill) Davis and Barbara Sneed, all of Dayton and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews who loved him very much.
A memorial service for Calvin will be held Sunday April 17, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Cranmore Cove Baptist Church with Pastor Bob Schafer officiating.

The family is being cared for by the Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton.
