Brian Lee Coulter, age 29, went to be with the Lord after a tragic accident on Saturday, January 21, 2012 in Meigs County. He was born December 7, 1982 in Dayton to Roger and Jennifer (Longmire) Coulter.
Brian graduated from Rhea County High School. He worked in construction in the oil fields around Houston, TX, learning the construction trade from top to bottom. He helped rebuild the levees in New Orleans after Hurricane Katrina. He worked in Dayton for Tenn Cate and at Flowers Bakery in Cleveland. He had been apprenticing with farrier Sam Boyd in the art of shoeing horses. He loved the outdoors and was a sports enthusiast.
He attended the Family Worship Center in Dayton. While life’s road proved rocky, we can take comfort in knowing Brian knew the true love of God.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents Elmer and Wilma Longmire and Thomas A. Coulter.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by his daughter Zowie Grace Coulter of Port Arthur, TX, brother Jacob Allen, sister Shannon (Zane) Roberts, grandmother Wilma Aileen Coulter, nephew Morgan Roberts and niece Shelby Roberts, all of Dayton.
Graveside funeral services for Brian will be Tuesday at 12:00 noon at Ogden Cemetery on Dayton Mountain with Rev. Bob Carroll officiating.
The family has requested that any memorial contributions be made to the funeral home to assist with funeral expenses.
