Brenda Joyce Hutsell age 55 of Dayton died Friday August 25, 2006 in Erlanger Hospital.
She was born in Pikeville, TN. on September 12, 1950 the daughter of the late Venus and Lillie Ann(Gossett) Thurman. She was also preceded in death by her brothers, David and Bill Thurman and niece Melinda Sneed.
Brenda lived in Dayton most of her life where she worked in the Dayton City School Cafeteria and where she was known as “Mama Brenda”. She loved square dancing, traveling and her grandchildren.
Brenda is survived by her son, David (Brandi) Trusley of Ft. Oglethorpe, GA., Ricky ( fiance’ Jennifer) Trusley of Dayton, her sisters, Bonnie Clark and Sarah Green both of Dayton and Lois Newby of Cleveland, her brother Jerry Thurman of Dayton, four grandchildren, Matthew, Meghan, C.J. and her fourth grandson due in two weeks, and
many beloved nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Monday at 11am in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Bill Almond officiating. Burial will be in Trusley Family Cemetery in Dayton.
The family is being served by Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton where they will receive friends Sunday 5-9pm.
