Bo Sims

September 6, 1930 — March 20, 2006

Marvin “Bo” Sims age 75 of Graysville died March 20, 2006 in Rhea Medical Center.
He was born in Graysville September 6, 1930 the son of the late Andrew Jackson and
Martha Trennie (Everett) Sims and was also preceded in death by his sons, Marvin and Curtis Sims, grandson, Little Andy and brothers, Carl “Whitey” Sims, Otis Howard Sims and Owen Lloyd Sims.

Bo lived in Graysville all his life where he was a former Graysville Councilman. He served his country with the US Army and was of the Church of God faith.

He is survived by his wife Sherron (Knox) Sims of Graysville, his daughters, Fonda Ballinger of Chattanooga and Karen Beene, his son, Andy Sims, four sisters, Meda Langston, Nellie Ruth Rose, Gladys martin and Lillie Mae Elsea all of Graysville and his six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services for Bo will be held Wednesday at 2pm in the funeral home chapel with
Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald officiating. Burial will be in Pleasantview Cemetery with full military honors.

The family is being served by Vanderwall Funeral Home, where they will receive friends Tuesday 3-8pm.
