Billy Braswell

Billy Braswell age 68 of Ooltewah died March 14, 2006 in his home surrounded by his family and friends.He was born in North Carolina the son of the late Theatrice and Leamor (Partin) Braswell.

Billy served his country with the US Air Force. He lived in Ooltewah for the past thirty years where he was a sheet metal mechanic with the Sheet Metal Union in Chattanooga.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years Peggy (Schrimpsher) Braswell of Ooltewah, one son, Bill (Glenda) Braswell, granddaughter, Amber Braswell, two sisters, Dot (Wayne) Tingen and Ruth (Bobby) Smith, one brother, Harold (Joyce) Braswell all of North Carolina, several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services for Billy will be held Thursday at 11am in the funeral home chapel with Rev. John Fields officiating. Burial will follow in Rhea Memory Gardens.

The family is being served by Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton where they will receive friends Wednesday 5-9pm.
