Billie Mae Garmany, age 77 of Dayton, passed Thursday, August 24, 2017 at her home, surrounded by her family. She was born February 8, 1940 in Dayton to the late Sally Mae Garmany.
She was a lifelong resident of Dayton and a graduate of Carver High School, Class of 1961. She retired from Argo’s Family Restaurant at Bryan College. She was a lifelong member of Dayton Church of Christ and loved to participate in the Monday Night Masters and their Lady’s Day outings.
Billie Mae is survived by her four daughters Renata M. Garmany and Stephanie (Sabir) D. Muhammad, all of Chattanooga, Gwendolen D. Garmany and Cathy L. Garmany, both of Dayton, adopted son Jacob L. Garmany and “daughter, sister, friend” Kathy Elaine Harris both of Dayton, fifteen grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren and a host of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services for Billie Mae will be held Sunday at 2:00 p.m. at the Dayton Church of Christ with Minister Steve Brown officiating. She will be laid to rest in Rhea Memory Gardens.

The family is being cared for by the Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton where they will receive friends Saturday at the funeral home from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
