“Earline” called by most, had an angelic soprano voice and enjoyed singing. At the age of 15, Motown Recording Studio asked to sign her. Some of Earline’s other hobbies were League Bowling, international travel to six of the seven continents, playing Scrabble daily and Jeopardy.
She is survived by her three daughters, Donna Doss of Lawrenceville, Georgia, Kimberly (Mario) Cunningham of Dunlap, and Carmen Doss of Dallas, TX; her son, Donald Doss Jr. of Snellville, GA; her two brothers, Earl (Millie) Wilson Jr., of Hinesville, GA, and Robert (Katrina) Wilson of Hixson; her two sisters, Conious Price of Chattanooga, and Juana (Clinton) Roberts Jr. of Hixson; her two aunts, Lottie Mathis of AZ, and Margaret Mathis of Knoxville; her brother-in-law, Herman Earl Nance, Sr.; and her 14 grandchildren, and 22 great-grandchildren.
