Betty Jean Rice

Betty Jean Rice, age 69 of Dayton, died Friday afternoon, May 16, 2014 at her home. She was born February 11, 1945 in Dayton to the late George and Sarah (Steele) Rice. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Ray Rice, Johnny Rice and Clifford Rice.
Betty was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. She is survived by her two brothers Cecil (Virgie) Rice of Sale Creek and Archie Rice of Dayton Mountain, three sisters Deana Messner, Sissy (Buddy) Bunch and Evelyn Newell all of Dayton, sisters-in-law Bertha Rice of Dayton Mountain and Ruby Rice of Hixson and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside funeral services will be held at Buttram Cemetery Monday at 12:00 noon with Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald officiating.
