Betty Jane Jarvis

Jarvis,Betty Jane, age 87 of Dayton, TN passed away peacefully with her family by her side Oct. 28, 2014. She was born March 8, 1927 in Rockwood, TN. She was of the Christian faith, and a member of the First Christian Chruch Disciples of Christ, Rockwood, TN.

She was preceded in death by her parents Herbert Littleton and Theodocia Smith, Rockwood, TN; brother, Jack (Theda) Littleton, Redbank, TN; and sister, Margaret Nelle Carr, Oak Ridge, TN.

She is survived by her husband, Arnold W. Jarvis, Dayton, TN; son, Robert W. Jarvis of Dayton, TN; daughter(s) Nancy (George)Thomas; Dayton, TN; and Margaret (Dick) Cole, Knoxville, TN, grandchildren, Michael (Shena) Cole, Knoxville, TN; and Melissa (Tim) Smith, Knoxville, TN; and great-grandchildren, Robert Allen, Harriman, TN, and Dalton and Maddison Ann Cole, Knoxville, TN. She is also survived by sister-in-law Hazel (John) Carroll, Pleasant Garden NC and special first cousin, Ina Sue "Susie" Littleton Turner of Manchester, Tn.

Family is being served by Vanderwall Funeral Home, Dayton, TN. Family memorial service at 11:00 a.m. with Rev. Kara Foster officiating on Thursday Oct. 30th with burial following at Rhea Memory Gardens, Dayton, TN.
