Betty Eileen (Fennell) Culp age 85 of Dayton, TN went to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ Saturday, December 19, 2009. Betty was born April 6, 1924, in Vandergrift, PA to the late Carl and Edith (Thompson) Fennell and was also preceded in death by all of her siblings.
She received her Music and Bible Degree from Eastern Bible Institute in Green Lane, PA. Betty was a much loved wife and mother, music teacher, pianist and organist for multiple churches, featured musician at state and national conferences, conventions, and camp meetings.
Betty is survived by her husband of 65 years, Rev. Thomas R.L. Culp, Dayton, TN her four daughters, Maedith (Bill) Hopper, Bartlett, TN, Bonnie (Danny) Steadman, Kingsport, TN, Barbara Dyer, Lakeland, FL, and Cheryl Bishop of Dayton, TN, her son Tom (Renee’) Culp of Cincinnati, OH, 12 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren and numerous friends.
Graveside Services and burial followed by a white dove release will be Monday afternoon at 2:00pm at Rhea Memory Gardens in Dayton followed with a Celebration of Betty’s life Monday afternoon at 4:00pm in the Dayton Church of God of Prophecy with Rev. Bob Carroll and Rev. Audie May officiating.
