Barbara Walcott

Barbara Alice Walcott age 70 of Dayton died at her home Thursday evening, September 29, 2011 while surrounded by her family. Barbara was born in Evensville on September 12, 1941 the daughter of the late Rowe and Alice (Burdett) King. She was a lifelong resident of Rhea County where she was a homemaker. Her life was her family.
Barbara is survived by her husband of 53 years, Robert “Earl” Walcott, Sr., her son, Robert “Bobby” Walcott, Jr., four daughters, Ann Riley, Alice (Raymond) Walker, and Sandra Armstrong all of Dayton and Bethany Routh of Salem, IN. She is also survived by her brother Melvin (Clara) King of Dillsboro, IN, sister, Dorothy Caraway of Evensville, seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Barbara will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Bob Bunch officiating. She will be laid to rest in Smyrna Cemetery in Evensville.
