Barbara Ann (Doss) Snyder, age 76 of Dayton, passed away at her home on Tuesday, November 25, 2025. She was born in Dayton on December 15, 1948, the daughter of the late Lester James Doss and Pauline Ray (Riley). She was also preceded in death by her brother, Rev. Ronnie Doss; and her sister, Caroline Dotson.

Barbara spent most of her life in Dayton, where she graduated from Rhea Central and was a devoted member of Doss Hollow Community Church. She worked as an Assembly Line Operator at Goodman Manufacturing and cherished simple pleasures like taking walks and visiting the beach.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth Snyder of Hixson; her daughter, Sandy Snyder of Dayton; and her brother, Jackie Doss of Dayton.

A family graveside will be held at Rhea Memory Gardens, where she will be laid to rest next to her parents.
