Barbara May Lenerville age 86 of Dayton went to be with her Lord on Mother’s Day, May 10, 2009. She was born in Waukegan, IL on May 14, 1922 the daughter of the late Harry Stillman Badger and Florence (Adair) Badger.
Barbara has been a resident of Dayton since 1979 and was a member of the Spivey Memorial United Methodist Church. She was a homemaker and enjoyed crocheting and knitting.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Norman Lenerville, two daughters, Dawn (Tom) Hudlow of Dayton and Leanne (Tracy) Steele of Daytona, FL, her son, Brian (Shannon) Lenerville of Mount Airy, NC, six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Barbara will be held Monday evening at 7:00pm in the funeral home chapel with her pastor, Rev. Bill Ewing officiating. She will be laid to rest in the Chattanooga National Cemetery.
The family is being served by the Vanderwall Funeral Home where they will receive friends Monday after 6:00pm.
