Barbara Ann Cotton

Barbara Ann (Miller) Cotton age 74 of Dayton Mountain, TN and formerly of Sanford, FL died Saturday morning November 29, 2014 in Chattanooga. She was born on June 30, 1940 in McRae, GA to the late John and Nannie (Lowie) Howard. She was also preceded in death by her husbands Homer Miller and Walter Goodman.
Barbara was a long time resident of Sanford, FL until moving to Dayton Mountain in 1983. She enjoyed traveling, camping and especially her grandkids. While living in Sanford she was a member of Central Baptist Church and in Dayton she was a member of Walden’s Ridge Baptist Church.
She is survived by her husband, Arthur L. Cotton, Jr. of Dayton Mountain, TN, two sons, Charles (Janet) Miller of Sanford, FL and Arthur (Cheryl) Cotton, III of Arlington, VA, two daughters, Debra (Randall) Burnham of Rome, GA and Julie (Jeff) Deichert of Dayton, TN, her brother, John Howard of Pikeville, TN and her sister, Cindy (Ron) Kidd of Sanford, FL. She is also survived by her nine granddaughters, one grandson and nine great-grandchildren.
Funeral services for Barbara will be held Sunday evening at 6:00pm in the funeral home chapel with her pastor, Rev. Jerry Levengood officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her first husband, Homer Miller in Oaklawn Cemetery in Sanford, FL on Wednesday morning at 10:00am with Rev. Bill Coffman officiating.
