Barbara R. Colbaugh

Barbara R. Colbaugh, age 86, passed away Sunday evening July 14, 2019 at Hospice of Chattanooga. She was born on January 18, 1933 in Rhea County, the daughter of the late Coy and Mary (Hicks) Wilson. Barbara was also preceded in death by her son, Randy Colbaugh.

Barbara lived in Rhea County all of her life. She retired as administrator of elections for the Rhea County Election Commission. Barbara was an avid reader and a member of the Spivey Memorial United Methodist Church.

She is survived by her grandson, Dylan (Kristen) Colbaugh and her great-grand daughter, Shelby Colbaugh both of Glennville, GA, her brother, Roy (Vickie) Wilson, sisters, Avis (Louis) Morgan and Frances Day all of Dayton.

Graveside funeral services for Barbara will be held Tuesday evening at 6:00 p.m. at Rhea Memory Gardens with her pastor, Rev. Bill Ewing officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her son, Randy.
