Annette Elaine (Smith) Cohen, age 54 of Graysville, passed away Sunday, January 29, 2017 at her home. She was born June 6, 1962 in Ft. Oglethorpe, GA to the late George Walter and Cora Savannah (Mitchell) Smith. She is also preceded in death by her husband, Ronald Cohen, in addition to her two brothers, James Curtis Smith and Danny Wayne Smith. She is also preceded by her sister, Huie Frances Nichols.
Elaine grew up in the Ringgold and Ft. Oglethorpe, GA area, and later moved to Dayton, where she spent the past 20 years. She loved taking care of her dogs and her family. Elaine was of the Baptist faith.
Elaine is survived by her daughter, Savannah Lee (Fisher) Jordan of Dunlap, her grandchildren, Julie Starz Ketchersid of Dunlap, Danny Lee Jordan of Dayton, and Dimitri Nikoli Jordan, also of Dayton. She is also survived by her stepdaughter, Stacey Jonell Fisher of Morristown. Elaine is also survived by her sisters Linda Henslee, Nancy Brown, Debbie Nichols, Charlotte Green, and Shirley Blakely; in addition to her brothers, Paul Smith, Lonnie Smith, and George Smith, all of Georgia and Tennessee.
A funeral service for Elaine will be held Friday at 5:00pm in the funeral home chapel on with Rev. John Fields officiating.
