Ann Zensen, age 85 of Dayton died Monday April 21, 2008 at Rhea Medical Center in Dayton. Ann was born in Newark, NJ on July 16, 1922, the daughter of the late Charles and Rose (Anello) Mammano.
Ann had lived in Bricktown, NJ for many years before moving to Dayton 10 years ago. She owned and operated beauty shops and was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary and the Rhea Senior Neighbors. She was a member of the Church of God of Prophecy in Dayton.
Ann is survived by her husband of 50 years, James Zensen, two sons Sandy (Sharon) Zensen of Dayton, James (Farrah) Zensen,II of Punta Gorda, FL, daughter Judie (Paul) Kelly of the The Villages, FL, sister Phyllis “Fay” Vanderdrift of Dallas, TX, brother Carmen “Butch” Mammano of Las Vegas, NV, six grandchildren and two great-granddaughters.
A celebration of Ann’s life will be held Thursday at 7:00 pm at the Dayton Church of God of Prophecy with the Rev. Bob Carroll officiating. Burial will be in the Florida National Cemetery in Bushnell, FL.
