Amber Marie Neal, age 33, of Evensville, passed away Thursday afternoon, September 5, 2019. She was born on April 26, 1986 in Dayton. Amber was preceded in death by her grandparents, Willie Grace Lane, Clyde Lane, Frances Hodge and Charles Coulter.
Amber lived in Dayton all of her life and was a Rhea County High School graduate, Class of 2004. She then earned her certification in dietary management at the University of North Dakota. Amber was the Director of Dietary and Environmental Services at Rhea Medical Center. She loved her patients, enjoyed organizing and assisting in benefits, gardening and flowers, and was very active in the Girl Scouts. Amber was of the Baptist faith.
She is survived by her husband of 13 years, Chris Neal of Evensville; her daughter, Cassidy Alexis Neal of Evensville; her parents, Troy and Lisa Ann Lane of Evensville; her brother, Bryan Lane of Cleveland; her sister, Kayla Lane of Evensville; her sisters in law, Amanda (Brad) Harwood of Dayton and Sierra (Ethan) Clark of Pikeville; her grandparents, Max and Ruth Neal of Pikeville; her mother in law, Lenna “Susie” Grider of Dayton; her nieces, Megan (Kevin) Vincent of Dayton, Katelyn Harwood of Dayton, Brooke (Matt) Morley of Dayton, Chloe Clark and Bristol Clark of Pikeville; her nephew, Nolan Clark of Pikeville; and her great nephews Valor Vincent, Vance Vincent, and Tucker Vincent of Dayton, and Brantley Defore of Dayton.
Funeral services for Amber will be held Tuesday morning at 11:00 a.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Jeff Swafford and Dana Gravett officiating. She will be laid to rest in Rhea Memory Gardens followed by a white dove release.
