Allison Lavern Roddy, age 56 of Dayton unexpectedly passed Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Rhea Medical Center in Dayton. She was born in Ohio on February 10, 1964 the daughter of the late William Sharp and Sarah Roddy. She was also preceded in death by her two sisters, Deborah Carson Pankey and Ann Hazel Roddy and her brother, David Roddy.
Allison was a graduate of Rhea County High School, class of 1982. She then earned her Bachelor of Arts degree at UTC. While attending the university she was an Alpha Sweetheart and known as “Inch High”. Allison was a member of the Destiny International Ministries.
She is survived by her four brothers, Anthony (Lisa) Roddy of Dayton, Randall (Jessica) Sharp of Spring City, Butch Sharp of CO and Scottie Sharp of Dayton. Two sisters, Jada Pankey of Dayton and Bethany Pankey of Chattanooga. She is also survived by her Spiritual daughter, Tanya Nelson of Dayton along with a host of beloved nephews and nieces and friends.
Graveside Funeral Services for Allison will be held Saturday, November 14, 2020 at 2:00 o’clock in the afternoon at the Pine Crest Cemetery in Dayton with Sister Del Sharp officiating.
The family will receive friends at the cemetery Saturday after 12 noon.
