Alice Marie (Gem) Bolton age 85 of Graysville died January 4, 2006 in her home.
She was born July 9, 1920 in Graysville the daughter of the late Martin and Lizzie (Nichols) Reel. She was also preceded in death by her husband Daniel Thomas Bolton.
“Gem” lived in Graysville all her life where she retired from Kayser Roth Hosiery and was a homemaker and a member of Graysville United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her sons, Archie (Faye) Bolton of Red Bank and Bobby (Nancy) Bolton of Dayton , grandchildren, Frank ,Jennifer, Angela and Daniel Bolton, great- grandchildren, Amanda and Isaac Bolton, brothers, W.T. Reel and Grady Reel, sisters Agnes Edmonds, Charlene Mathis and Vicki Powell, several nieces and nephews all of Graysville.
Funeral services for “Gem” will be held Friday at 3:30pm in the funeral home chapel with Pastor Glenn Moseley and Tim Dodd officiating. Burial will be in Pleasantview Cemetery followed by a white dove release.
The family is being served by Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton where they will receive friends Thursday 4-9pm.
