Aimie Leigh King, RN, age 31, beloved daughter, mother, sister and aunt, and a resident of Evensville died Monday, April 14, 2009 in Chattanooga due to injuries she suffered in an automobile accident. Aimie was born in Bledsoe County on July 27, 1977 and lived all of her life in Rhea County. She was a graduate of Rhea County High School, class of 1995 and then graduated with honors from Chattanooga State with her degree in nursing. She was currently employed as a Registered Nurse both with Parkridge Medical Center and the Spring City Health Care Center.
Aimie is survived by her two children, Brayden Lake Ray and Tyler Stephenson both at home, her mother, Debra (Daniels) King of Evensville, sister, Mandi Moffitt of Chattanooga, brother, Ben King of Dayton Mountain, grandmother, Maxine Daniels of Dayton Mountain, her fiancee’ with whom she was expecting a child, Aaron Fugate of Evensville, nieces and nephews, Paige King, B. J. King, Caitlyn King, Alex Moffitt and Madelyn Moffitt and her two special friends, Jodie Keener of Evensville and Crystal Minton of Evensville. Aimee was preceded in death by her grandfather, Loy “Buddy” Daniels.
Funeral services for Aimie will be held Thursday evening at 7:00pm at the Dayton Church of God with Rev. Mike Justice and Rev. Brian Conley officiating. Graveside services followed by a white dove release will be held Friday morning at 11:00am at the Kiuka Cemetery on Dayton Mountain with family and friends gathering at the funeral home at 10:00am Friday.
The family will receive friends at the Dayton Church of God Thursday after 3:00pm.
