Agnes Louise Edmonds age 83 of Graysville died Saturday morning in Chattanooga. She was born in Rhea County on September 26, 1930 the daughter of the late Martin Brown Reel and Lizzie Rebecca (Nichols) Reel. She was also preceded in death by her husband J.L. Edmonds, her brothers Buck Reel, Leonard Reel, and W.T. Reel and her sisters Marie Bolton and Virginia Johnson.
Agnes lived all of her life in Rhea County where she was a homemaker. She was a member of the Graysville United Methodist Church and enjoyed sewing and quilting.
She is survived by her son, Stanley (Allene) Edmonds of Evensville, two grandsons, Alex (Amelia) Edmonds and Colton Edmonds, her great-grandson Bentley Edmonds, her brother Grady Reel of Graysville and two sisters, Polly Mathis of Dayton and Vickie (Kenny) Powell of Graysville.
Funeral services will be held Monday evening at 7:00pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald and Rev. Cloyd Bell officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Pleasantview Cemetery in Graysville Tuesday morning at 11:00am.
