Aaron Alonzo Harbin, Jr., age 83 of Evensville, passed away on August 7, 2025, at Rhea Medical Center in Dayton. He was born in Dayton on August 27, 1941, the son of the late Aaron Alonzo Harbin, Sr. and Anna Marion (Williams) Harbin. He was also preceded in death by his two brothers, Bruce Harbin and Michael Harbin; and his granddaughter, Brittany.
Aaron was born and raised in Dayton and lived in the Washington, D.C., and Maryland area most of his life. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army, and he was employed by Washington, D.C. Metro as a driver, train operator, and then a supervisor. He was a member of the Masons, enjoyed golfing, and was of the Baptist faith.
Aaron is survived by his two children, Anthony Harbin of Memphis, TN, and Aaren Harbin of Maryland; his two sisters, Alfreda Williams of Dolton, IL, and Carolyn Pryor of Los Angeles, CA; his three grandchildren, Aaron, Anthony, and Amber; his several great-grandchildren; and his special friend, Teresa Smith of Evensville.
Visitation for Aaron will be in the funeral home chapel on Wednesday, August 13, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m., concluding with military honors by the US Army at 7:00 p.m. He will be laid to rest next to his parents in the Pinecrest Cemetery in Dayton during a private burial.
