Scott Thomas Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

William Scott Thomas, Sr., age 52 of Rossville, GA, passed away on Friday afternoon, January 21, 2022 at Parkridge Medical Center in Chattanooga. He was born on December 30, 1969 in Chattanooga, TN, the son of the late James Earl Thomas, Sr. and Linda Lou Campbell. Scott was also preceded in death by his brother, Curtis Eugene Thomas. Scott lived in Rossville, GA for the past two years but lived in Dayton most of his life and was a Rhea County High School Graduate. He served his country with the US Navy as Petty Officer 2nd Class. Scott was employed at La-Z-Boy until health forced his retirement and enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his wife, Robin (Gray) Thomas of Rossville, GA; his sons, William Scott Thomas, Jr. of Harriman and Cameron Moore of Las Vegas, NV; his daughters, Tessa Brooks Thomas of Hixson, Nicole Moore of Ringgold, GA, Hannah Moore of Rossville, GA and Sarah Moore of Rossville, GA; grandson, Grayson Moore of Rossville, GA; brother, James Earl (Roberta) Thomas of Orlando, FL; and sister, Cathy Kaye (Chris) Lynn of Chattanooga. Graveside funeral services with US Navy Military Honors for Scott will be held on Friday, January 28, 2022, at 11:00 a.m. at the Chattanooga National Cemetery with Rev. John Fields officiating.
