Skye Marie Mays

December 22, 1986 - February 5, 2020

Skye Marie Mays, age 33, of Chattanooga and formerly of Dayton, passed away Tuesday, February 5, 2020 in Chattanooga. She was born in Dayton on December 22, 1986 and preceded in death by her mother Betty Patton. Skye graduated from Chattanooga State as a certified Medical Assistant. She had been employed with the State of Tennessee working with DNA testing. She attended Mt. Olive Baptist Church in Chattanooga. She had been a resident of Rhea and Hamilton counties all of her life. She is survived by her three children, Dai’zhan Bell, Tre’von Thomas and Ny’kel Thomas all of Chattanooga, her brothers and sisters, Zach (Emily) Hyatte of Ocala, FL, Erica Davis of Chattanooga, Toni Patton of Chattanooga, Randon Floyd of Chattanooga, Giordani Taylor of Murfreesboro, Tyrell Swafford of Chattanooga, Terrance Davis of Chattanooga, Tiffany Davis of MS, Chevron Anderson of Atlanta and Savannah Cooper of Dayton. She is also survived by her Dads, Frankie Mays of Shelbyville and Zanard Davis of Chattanooga and her step-mom Cathy Swafford Davis of Chattanooga. Funeral services for Skye will be held Sunday afternoon, February 9th, 2020 at 3:00pm in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Johnny Heard officiating.
