Sarah Lou Pelfrey

June 10, 1933 — December 5, 2013

Sarah Lou Pelfrey, age 80, of Dayton, died early Thursday, December 5, 2013 at Rhea Medical Center. She was born June 10, 1933 in Pikeville to the late Marvin and Pearl (Webb) Etherton. She was also preceded in death by her husband Thomas Henry Pelfrey.
A resident of Dayton for the past 30 years, she lived previously in Battle Creek, MI. She was a homemaker and a member of the Salem Baptist Church.
She is survived by her six sons, Thomas (Vicki) Pelfrey, Marvin (Rhonda) Pelfrey, Ricky Pelfrey and William Eric Pelfrey all of Dayton, James Clifford (Lorraine) Pelfrey and Paul Timothy Pelfrey, all of Battle Creek, MI, her daughter Linda Mouliskey of Dayton, thirteen grandchildren, fifteen great-grandchildren, three brothers and three sisters.
Funeral services for Sarah will be held Sunday afternoon at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Rev. Clyde Fitzgerald officiating. She will be laid to rest next to her husband in Smyrna Cemetery in Evensville.

The family is being served by the Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton where they will receive friends Saturday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.
