William Kenneth Sneed, age 71 of Dayton died unexpectedly on Good Friday, April 6, 2012 in a Chattanooga hospital. Ken was born in Dayton on June 29, 1940 the son of the late Sherman and Mary (Powers) Sneed.
Ken retired as an inspector for Suburban Mfg. after 35 years and was an avid fisherman. He attended the South Dayton Church of God and most recently the Sale Creek Church of God.
He is survived by his wife of 38 years, Marlene (Walker) Sneed of Dayton, his brother, Bobby (Jewel) Sneed of Evensville and his sister, Margaret (Jack) Pace of California, MO.
Funeral services for Ken will be held Monday at 12 noon in the funeral home chapel with Bishop Kenneth Bolton and Rev. Jewell Travis officiating. He will be laid to rest in Rhea Memory Gardens.

The family is being served by the Vanderwall Funeral Home where they will receive friends Easter Sunday from 12 noon until 6:00pm.
